This training program is to create a greater awareness of the potential dangers associated with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by ground. It also provides an understanding of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations and the needs for their application in the workplace.

Who Should Attend?

Under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations any person who handles, offers for transport or transports dangerous goods must be adequately trained and hold a valid training certificate. According to the regulations, training is required every three (3) years from the date of initial certification. This training is a general awareness of Transportation of Dangerous Goods by ground and employer specific training is required. The employer is required to sign off on the training and the training is non-transferable.
