According to the Occupational Health and Safety First Aid Regulations, section 4. (5) ” Where 15 or more but less than 200 workers are engaged on one shift an employer shall ensure that there is
(a) at least one worker who holds a valid standard first aid certificate unless an officer directs that a higher certificate is necessary…”.
DMC meets the requirements established by the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC) as well as the requirement set by St. John Ambulance and the NL Council to include AED training in all general public courses.
